At the start of the course
(the top of the closed road) near the towers
and picnic area is a set of doubles. The gap is about 3.5 metres from
take off lip to landing edge. Make sure you don't fall short !
Otherwise, ride around the doubles on the right hand side.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'THE BERMS'
Three high speed berms to come
flying into- one after another.
The higher on the berm you go the more speed you can hold.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'THE POND'
A little oasis that the track
goes around. This little pond usually
flows year round but not in a drought !
Good fresh spring water for drinking, if you've got time to stop !
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'THE ROCK GARDEN'
The steepest, rockiest and
most technical part of the track.
A few chain rings have fallen victim on this section of track.
Proceed with caution and let the fun begin !
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the roughest part of the
rock garden you get funnelled into
a narrow chute a couple of metres long, between some
tight rock faces.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'LOG AIR'
When you build a downhill
track and
you come across a big ol' tree
that has fallen down across your path, why go around it ? Pile a
whole bunch of dirt and rocks up behind it and prepare for lift off !
The tree is only about 2-3 foot high but how fast can you nail it ?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just as the name implies,
launch across a fireroad and then
straight into a right hand berm. The chicken route avoids the
jump and keeps you closer to terra firma.
